We build custom homes on lots in the Portland metro. Most are 2,000–4,000 sq ft, single-family, often replacing tear-downs or built on infill lots. We coordinate design, permits, site work, framing, finishes — the entire build.

What’s involved in a new-home build

  1. Design. Either with your architect, with one of the architects we work with regularly, or with our in-house drafting for simpler plans.
  2. Permits. We handle all city and county permitting, plan checks, and inspections.
  3. Site work. Excavation, drainage, foundation, utility tie-ins.
  4. Framing, roofing, weatherproofing.
  5. Mechanicals. Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, low-voltage.
  6. Insulation and drywall.
  7. Finishes. Flooring, cabinets, countertops, tile, paint, trim.
  8. Exteriors. Siding, decks, hardscape, landscaping if in scope.
  9. Final inspections, punch list, certificate of occupancy.

Timeline and pricing

A new home in the Portland market typically takes 10–14 months from groundbreaking to move-in. Pricing varies massively by lot conditions, design complexity, and finish level. A clean lot with a straightforward 2,500 sq ft single-family plan and mid-range finishes typically lands in the $500K–$900K range for construction (excluding land). Custom and high-end builds run higher. We’ll give you a realistic budget conversation early.
